A great recipe for the grill
Ingredients:
- 1 lb sandwich steaks
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp canola oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine ketchup, pineapple juice, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and canola oil.
- Place sandwich steak in a one-gallon Ziploc bag and pour half of the marinade over it. Marinate for four hours or overnight.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove the meat from the refrigerator, and allow to reach room temperature, around 30 minutes. Remove the meat from bag and throw out the remaining marinade.
- Grill for two to two and a half minutes per side.
- After taking the meat off the grill you can place the meat on wooden skewers. Brush meat with reserved marinade.
