Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies from Kosher.com
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 pound brown sugar
- 4 sticks (1 pound) margarine
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 6 cups flour
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1-12 ounce package chocolate chips
- 8 ounces chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream eggs, sugar, margarine, and vanilla extract. Add next three ingredients, mixing well.
- Stir in chocolate chips, and nuts if desired.
- Roll into one-inch balls, and bake on an ungreased cookie sheets, one and 1/2-inches apart, for 15 minutes. Do not over-bake.
Tip:
If you don’t have a cookie sheet, or time to shape the cookies, spread the dough out in two 9×13-inch pans, bake, cool – and cut into bars.
